Main goals of the project: to expand the NESSI-Hungary Software and Services National Technology Platform, to elaborate its basic documents (Vision, Strategic Research Agenda, Implementation Plan), to establish and maintain cooperation with national and international partners giving them a solid professional background for decisions of policy-makers, as well as to find the way how the Platform can be maintained as a self-sustaining organization.

According to the structure of the Platform-profile, working groups are organized in two dimensions. Initially six technological and one domain-oriented working groups have started their operation. These are: Process management (BPM), Interoperability, Architecture-SOA, Software Engineering, IT Security and CIIP, Software Quality, e-Government. The number of organizations already affiliated is over 90.

The Platform is open for any other organization. It tries to find the good balance between freedom of openness and efficiency of coordinated work.

Primary European partner of NESSI-Hungary is NESSI ETP. Additionally, there are direct connections with the European national NESSI initiatives and with the associate technology platforms and organisations.

ICT 2010 Conference and Exhibition

30. March 2010.

ICT 2010 will be held in Brussels from 27th to 29th September 2010. The NESSI initiative is planning to be represented there with a NESSI information stand and various networking and exhibits from the on-going research, opening up opportunities for future collaborations in services research.   The role of NESSI in the Future Internet will also be at the centre of our activities on display at ICT 2010.   More information about ICT 2010 is available at: http://ec.europa.eu/information_society/events/ict/2010/
